Republican political consultant, Alex Patton, is proud to be quoted in Jacksonville’s Florida Times Union article regarding the upcoming Jacksonville GOP debate and Presidential Primary Race in Florida.
Florida often is considered one of the biggest fish in the primary sea, but its influence has been diminished because of penalties administered by the Republican National Committee. The national party cut Florida’s delegates from 99 to 50 because it moved its primary into January, which was against party rules.
“It is not a deal-breaker,” said Alex Patton, a Gainesville-based Republican consultant who is not backing a candidate. “Mitt has been considered the front runner, but you can never count Newt out. He’s come back more than most zombies.”
